Dog Won’t Stop Hugging His Dad Who Was Injured In A Fall

Nothing compares to the affection a dog has for his or her owner. Just ask Tony, a devoted dog who was heartbroken when it appeared that he could have lost his father for good.

Tony’s owner, Jesus Hueche, was trimming a tree outside their Argentina house on Saturday when he slipped and fell around 6 feet to the concrete pavement below. He’d struck his head and lost consciousness, but happily his situation wasn’t overlooked — and Hueche was never alone during the experience.

Tony was by his side when paramedics came.

While medical personnel treated Hueche and fitted him with a neck brace, the dog continued to embrace him and refused to leave his spot.

Tony was sick with worry.

Hueche soon awoke and offered Tony a couple reassuring pats to let him know everything was fine.

Tony persisted when it came time to put Hueche into an ambulance to transport him to the hospital; he attempted to hop inside with him.

But the dog and his adoring owner would not be apart for long.

Fortunately, Hueche’s injuries were reported to be minor, and he was discharged from the hospital a short time later to rejoin Tony. Meanwhile, photographs of the dog’s compassionate reaction during his rescue went viral on social media.

Hueche was recently interviewed by local radio station La Brujula 24 to discover more about his loyal dog, which he had rescued as a stray.

“We saw him on the street one day and adopted him, gave him love and food, and [he] is now part of our family,” Hueche told the broadcaster. “He’s like a son to me.”

And his father clearly meant everything to Tony.
