A Woman’s Touching Reunion With Her Dog After 3 Months of Being Lost

We truly care about our dogs since they become a vital part of our family and because we love them so much. Sol Salum, an Argentine housewife from Baha Blanca, first felt terrified on October 8, 2020, when she returned home and realized her beloved dog, Congo, was not there.

Congo appeared to have left his home by taking advantage of three masons who left the door open as they were working on a construction job.

Congo dashed out without waiting for a response, making use of the distraction while the front door was being fixed.

Sol told Clarn the following:

They failed to catch him because of how fast he runs. When I returned home, the dog was gone.

Sol was crushed by the news, especially given that Congo’s birthday was rapidly approaching. She started setting up Congo cartels on each corner as she made her way across the city in pursuit of her closest friend.

She shared images of her cat on several social media sites to help with the search and guarantee his safe return.

They immediately began phoning Sol from various lines and providing information, though not always what he desired.

Sol remarked:

“The image was shared by almost everyone in Bahia. They called from all over, some offering assistance and some just having fun.

Congo believed that everything will be over soon because she had a plaque hanging with all of her info in case it was misplaced. Additionally, Sol had a QR code that, when scanned with a smartphone, revealed all of Sol’s details and made it possible for him to get home quickly.

However, as the days passed and Sol was unable to locate Congo, what was supposed to be a brief formality evolved into a three-month odyssey. About 102 days after Congo vanished, on January 20 of this year, Sol also learnt of a stray dog.

When the woman stood up straight and began uploading the photo of her missing pet, she immediately noticed another photo of a dog that was quite similar. He was ten kilometers away and had been here for a week, according to the information.

Despite the fact that Sol was already tired of taking calls that ended badly, she decided to go have a look. She parked before across the street to the house where the dog was supposed to be, but no one was present when she pulled into the driveway.

The woman was already discouraged when a brown dog appeared to greet a visitor who resembled Congo.

Sol stated:

“‘Congo!

I scream at him. And he immediately made a U-turn. He simply charged at me, peed on me, and bit my face.

It was clear that it was their long-lost pet, and the reunion was characterized by several tears, hugs, kisses, and statements of gratitude.

The woman chose to photograph the uncomfortable scene and upload images of it on various social media platforms, which instantly trended online. Congo was found by the woman, who then put him in her car and drove him home.

Sol remarked:

He slept outside in the car and would occasionally wake up in terror, but as soon as he saw me, he would go back to sleep. After a horrific 100 days, they were finally over.

Congo is happy to be home and doesn’t plan to go again.

On sometimes, when out for a stroll, he becomes thrilled at trash bags and wants to be close to Sol. However, this is common.

The good news is that Sol and Congo’s suffering is done, but those who have been following the story from the start won’t soon forget it.
