This paralyzed doberman dog learned to walk again and never gave up.

Kenney is a paraplegic Doberman dog who defied expectations by regaining his ability to run and walk. After a Kenny’s employee intentionally dropped a metal gate on Kenny’s neck, He was rendered unable to move any of his fore legs as of April 2013. The experts recommended euthanasia since they believed the animal would never be able to walk normally again.

When the incident that caused his paralysis occurred, the damaged Doberman dog, who was about ten years old, was living at the Doberman Retirement Home in Los Angeles.

The owner of the shelter, unsure of what to do, brought the dog to Leslie McMahon, the founder of Two Hands for Paws, a facility for canine physical therapy.

The Hartford Post quoted Leslie as saying:

The patient states, “Kenny was sent right away to the neurologist and they realized they didn’t have the $8,000 for an MR, so she requested to simply attempt rehabilitation to see if we could get him to walk once again.”

Leslie McMahon said it was “very difficult” to help Kenny move his legs due to their rigidity. But instead of taking a break, she and her group made every effort to help the dog.

The doctor said, “We worked extremely hard for a very long month to maintain his muscles in good shape, putting him in the pool, performing massages, lasers, accupuncture, and supported walking.”

until it was obvious that Kenny could no longer run one day.

He actually believed that we would lose him as a result of that, putting his life in danger.

But after discovering the dog’s attack, Annie Hart, the founder of the Ball Foundation, an organization for animal rescue in Los Angeles, shared her story with the organization’s friends and supporters on social media.

Annie informed The Hartford Post that they received a record-breaking $6,000 donation in one day for Kenny’s case. Kenny may therefore have a sarge followed by an MR with the money.
