On rare occasions, social networking sites can offer a solution to these persistent problems that previously seemed unsolvable. A sweet little puppy named Speck had been waiting for a family to adopt him and provide him with all the love he needed in an abandoned animal shelter in the state of Alabama (USA) for a year and a half.
The dog would stand up in his cage with his muzzle in the middle of the bars to greet everybody that passed by. Everyone came to a stop and “shaked his paw” before giving him two hugs.
Desiray Miracle-Wilder, director of the Bullock County Humane Society, said that it was challenging to refrain from extending a kind greeting to this adorable and affectionate dog. Desiray decided to record this bizarre interaction on his phone one day, possibly when he was feeling particularly inventive.
Speck uses his tiny paw to touch the director of the shelter while peeking between the bars of his cage. Hundreds of internet users in addition to Speck’s future family were able to watch the movie.
Even though Speck had experienced difficulty before arriving at the shelter, the wounds on his muzzle had no impact on his friendly and outgoing nature. The small dog, however, continued to be very trusting of people and was simply eager to win someone over.
Allie’s Hope For Paws Dog Rescue connected Speck’s shelter with the potential family after they watched this touching video. Once the movie was released, Speck surely received a deluge of adoption-related queries. The young puppy may now play and run around a farm with Mike’s family and two other dogs!
